Deep clean. Low flick back. Built for barrels.
Designed to clean deep into the wheel barrel, the Long Reach Wheel Brush delivers gentle, effective agitation exactly where a standard brush can’t reach. Its bristle design generates low flick back, reducing the amount of chemical that flicks back up your arm as you work — making it a genuinely comfortable brush to use, session after session. Long Reach Wheel Brush
Not all wheel brushes are created equal. Standard brushes clean the face of the wheel, but brake dust and road grime build up hardest behind the spokes and deep inside the barrel — exactly where most brushes can’t go.
Our Long Reach Wheel Brush solves that problem. The looped bristle design means the bristle material — not the inner wire — is what touches your wheel, so even fully extended into a tight gap, there’s no risk of scratching painted, lacquered, or alloy finishes. The bristles are a blend of nylon and natural horsehair: the nylon provides durability through repeated use, while the horsehair gives the brush its soft, low flick back feel and excellent agitation. Horsehair isn’t chemical-resistant, so we’d recommend rinsing the brush thoroughly after every use to keep it performing at its best.
Whether you’re agitating between spokes, reaching the far edge of the inner rim, or working right round the wheel barrel, this brush is built to get in, shift the grime, and come out without leaving a mark behind.

Key Features
Soft, looped bristles agitate deep into the wheel without metal ever contacting the surface, so there’s no risk of scratching delicate finishes even in hard-to-reach gaps. A blend of nylon and natural horsehair gives the brush a soft, low flick back action — meaning less chemical ends up flicking back up your arm while you work, for a more comfortable clean session after session. Its extended reach gets right round the inner rim and into the barrel, covering the areas where brake dust and grime collect the most and a standard brush can’t follow. Used alongside a wheel cleaner, it turns a quick rinse into a proper deep clean — just give it a thorough rinse and hang it to dry after every use, since the horsehair content isn’t chemical-resistant.
How To Use – Wheel Brush
- Rinse the wheel with clean water to remove loose dirt and grit before applying any product.
- Apply your wheel cleaner of choice — Bilberry Wheel Cleaner for painted/lacquered wheels, or Dragon’s Breath for a pH neutral option — and allow it to dwell.
- Work the brush behind the spokes and into the barrel, letting the looped bristles flex into tight gaps without forcing them.
- Rinse thoroughly, then dry the wheel with a microfibre drying towel.
- Finish with a wipe-over of Classic Quick Detailer for an extra layer of gloss and protection.
- Rinse the brush after every use and hang it to dry — don’t leave it folded or compressed, as this can affect bristle shape over time.
