Roll Up & Shine are a family run business based in Derbyshire who stock ValetPRO products. We got in touch with Andy and asked him to provide a small description of the company:
“Family run business born of our own obsession with cleaning the car, we bring you an ever expanding range of the worlds finest car care & detailing products. One of the few detailing retailers in the country with a retail store where you can come and have a look at the products in your hand and talk about them face to face. We are situated 5 minutes demo J29 M1.”
So we got to asking a few more questions…
Firstly, what is your position in the company?
Answer: Sitting down, leaning back a little.
What are your business aspirations?
Answer: We just want to be the best detailing store we can.
Do you sponsor any race teams or events?
Answer: Not currently.
What is your best selling ValetPRO product?
Answer: Detail brushes
What is the fist car you ever owned?
Answer: Ford Cortina Mk4 2.0GL
What is your favourite car that you have ever owned?
Answer: My Volvo S70 T5, its big, quiet, fast, reliable, has a big boot, 290k, owned 15 years. Nothing ticks all the boxes this car does.
What’s the worst car you have ever owned? And why?
Answer: Renault 19 -snapped 3 clutch cables in 6 months, the last one on the way to the scrapyard in rush hour traffic.
What would you dream car be? And why?
Answer: A White LaFerrari -White is the colour and you need a reason for the LaFerrari?
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you choose and why?
Answer: Michael Schumacher, I’d like to see him up and about again.
How often do you clean your car?
Answer: Not as often as I’d like.
What is your favourite ValetPRO product?
Answer: Citrus Pre Wash. Not only great for the car but around the house, particularly good for the patio.
