Purple Passion

We spent over a year perfecting the formula for Purple Passion -and we think we got it just right!

We spent over a year planning, developing and perfecting the formula for Purple Passion  before releasing it within our range of paint preparation products. This brilliantly purple, and fruity smelling, product is excellent at removing light marring and oxidisation, enhancing gloss and creating a base that helps waxes and sealants bond better which in turn improves durability.

This is one of our favourite recent releases because it’s simple to use and doesn’t require much effort since it can be applied by hand or machine. It effectively makes old, neglected paintwork look amazing and provides good paintwork with a massive enhancement.

This product is designed to be used prior to waxing, and should be applied to a washed and dried car. It’s recommended to remove tar spots from the paint surface (try our Contamination Removal Bars or our Citrus Tar and Glue Remover) beforehand.

If you plan to apply it by hand, squirt two pea sized blobs onto a polish applicator and work panels individually; we suggest back and forth movements to allow the product to be spread evenly and thinly. Once finished applying the product you should buff the remaining residue with a clean micro-fibre cloth.  If you feel that the paint work -or certain patches of paintwork- need more attention then simply re-apply Purple Passion and buff off again until you’re satisfied with the result.

The process is much the same if you’re applying Purple Passion via DA (Dual Action) Polisher. For this, we suggest either a Finishing Machine Pad or a Polish/Mild Compound Machine Pad; white for more cut and black for finishing. You should apply a bead of Purple Passion in a cross across the pad and briefly smear the pad across the panel you’re working on to work the product into the paint. Remember, you should work across an area roughly three square foot at a time. Then set the DA up to setting 3 and start. Buff the section up and continue until you’ve covered the entire car.

At this point the paint work is ready for a wax such as Mad Wax or Beading Marvellous. We consider Purple Passion to be an affordable and effective product at just £12.90 for a 500ml bottle. Also note that it is available in a 5L bottle for £64.99.
