ValetPRO’s pH Neutral Snow Foam – is a gentle snow foam designed for regular maintenance washes. It is great for removing light dusting from paint surfaces, softening bird droppings and loosening general traffic film prior to the contact wash stage of car cleaning.

By softening contamination before washing, pH Neutral Snow Foam helps reduce wash marring and makes the contact wash safer and easier. It also helps maintain ceramic coatings, waxes and sealants, ensuring these protections last as long as possible.

When ValetPRO first released pH Neutral Snow Foam, most snow foams on the market were alkaline cleaners. Today, almost every brand offers a pH neutral snow foam, while alkaline snow foams more recently have become increasingly popular.

We believe this is due to the growth of ceramic coatings, which are far more durable than traditional waxes and sealants. However, if you are still using waxes, ceramic spray sealants, SiO₂ wet sealants or ceramic shampoos, pH Neutral Snow Foam should remain your go-to product.

There is another important reason. pH Neutral Snow Foams are far kinder to vehicle surfaces and can be used on a regular basis without fear of damage to paint or other sensitive finishes that are often not protected by ceramic coatings.

High-gloss piano black plastics on grilles and door surrounds, chrome window trims, plastic wheel arches and bumpers, aluminium roof racks, badges and similar finishes all suffer over time when repeatedly exposed to strong alkaline cleaners. These products can fade and degrade surfaces in the long term. pH Neutral Snow Foam helps keep these areas looking better for longer.

If you require more cleaning power, we suggest applying ValetPRO Citrus Pre-Wash to the lower panels as part of the snow foam process. This increases cleaning performance while keeping the overall pH low.

Snow Foam Lance Directions

Dilution Options

• 100ml product to 900ml water
• Trade alternative: 300ml product to 700ml water

If you are using a professional foam lance with a feed control, filling the bottle with 100ml product and 900ml water and setting the feed to maximum will use the full 1 litre per vehicle. This is perfectly fine, but if you are washing multiple cars it can add unnecessary work.

Using 300ml product to 700ml water gives greater control. You can increase or decrease the feed depending on the foam thickness you require and will typically achieve 2–3 vehicles per bottle.

Controlling foam thickness is important, as you may want to adjust it to ensure the foam clings to the paint surface for longer. If you have not worked this way before, it is worth experimenting to see the difference foam consistency can make. Once you do, you will likely prefer this level of control.

Application

• Dilute 1:3 to 1:9
• Foam the entire vehicle
• Allow to dwell but do not allow to dry
• Rinse thoroughly with a pressure washer, starting from the bottom

Pump Sprayer Directions

Dilute 1:10 to 1:20 and apply in the same way as a TFR or pre-wash. The product will not foam unless used with a dedicated foaming pump sprayer. However, because the product is applied at a higher strength, cleaning power is improved.

Due to its pH neutral formulation, it can safely be used at higher concentrations if required.

Application

• Spray around lower seals, wheels and wheel arches
• Once you have worked around the vehicle, begin rinsing from where you started
• Product works best when kept wet – do not allow it to dry
• Rinse with a pressure washer, starting from the lowest areas and working upwards
